DHG Ramps Up Annual Canned Food Drive
Dixon Hughes Goodman is hosting their annual “Count the Cans” campaign June 14th-June 24th. The local Certified Public Accountants and Advisors made a tremendous impact last year in Greenville County as they donated more than $11,000 and 1,000 pounds of non-perishable food to Loaves & Fishes as part of their corporate “Count the Cans” campaign.
The canned food drive is heavily relied on by the pantries Loaves & Fishes serves. The summer canned food drive is important since pantry shelves are receiving less donations this time of year than they traditionally do during the holiday months despite the constant need in their communities. This effort by DHG and it’s employees is vital to ending summer hunger in Greenville County and is greatly appreciated by the thousands of lives it impacts every year.
