Pantries & Other Nonprofit Agencies

Loaves & Fishes is a food rescue organization that delivers rescued food to over 150 partner agencies, the majority of which are nonprofits themselves, throughout Greenville County.  Last year we rescued close to 2.5M pounds of surplus food and delivered it–same day– to any number of helping hands in Greenville. As such, we do not provide services directly to those experiencing food insecurity or hunger. However, many of these agencies use our rescued food to serve hot meals or provide food for individuals and families and they would be happy to help you.

Are you looking for food? Not sure where to start? We’ve got your back.

First: Find your location on the Greenville Essential Services iMap. Click here.

Greenville County iMAP provides an interactive look at essential services available throughout the Greenville. Some areas identified and mapped include: bus stops, parks, educational institutions, affordable housing, health centers, quality childcare, food pantries, recreation centers, shelters, community gardens, farmers markets, employment assistance, elderly assistance and governmental offices.

Check the “Layers” menu and check “food system”, deselect all others. Scroll to the bottom of the criteria pane on the right and click “nearby” to find the nearest food resource to you.

Second: Visit their website or call ahead!

Many food assistance locations and kitchens operate with volunteers or other non-paid staff and hours may vary.
